Mr. S. Msibi
Mr. Sandile Joseph Msibi was born on the 11 September 1961. He matriculated at Residensia High School in 1982. He continued with his studies at the Wits Technikon studying Advance Business Development Management Program in 1997 and later furthered his studies at the Vaal Technikon in 2000, studying Business Administration.
Mr. Msibi started working at Nampak Industrial and occupied the following positions: Production Trainee, Production Manager, Divisional Training and Development Manager. In 1982 he was appointed Acting General Manager until 2002 where he was promoted as a Director Administration.
From 2003-2007 he joined the Local Government of Ngwathe Local Municipality (NLM) as Municipal Manager. At NLM he developed a vision and strategies for the organisation and ensured the implementation of the IDP. From 2008-2009 he joined the Dihlabeng Local Municipality as Municipal Manager and later the then Mangaung Local Municipality as City Manager from 2009-2011. He joined the Provincial Government as Head of Department for Police, Roads and Transport from 1 November 2011.
During his career Mr. Msibi acquired the following attributes: Innovative and creative skills, proven ability to function in a volatile and very restricted environment. He is very analytical and has refined people management skills. He is a leader and a good organiser.
